What is Millennium OS? Millennium OS is a GUI
(Graphical User Interface) for MS-DOS or DOS compatible systems, made to operate
under slow environments, work well with older machines, and requires LESS
hardware than Windows. Why do you work on Millennium OS if OSes like Linux & Windows are the major competitors? People still enjoy good
old MS-DOS days, where everything was command line and more advanced and controllable.
Windows and Linux simplify tasks and routines that a computer performs, and
makes it easier to work with at the same time, but FreeDOSbut I still favor a small stable
GUI. What are some plans for Millennium OS? I always have new plans
for Millennium OS. Every day, I at least come up with 1 or 2 new ideas to
implement into M-OS, unless I'm on a holiday. I would like to compete with
a GUI, written a LONG TIME AGO by "Joe Boatman" called "DeskPlus+". It was
written in QBasic, and it was COMMERCIAL. M-OS is not an EXACT copy of DeskPlus,
but I hope to put QBasic to the MAX!
